Activities at the Sandspit Wild Harvest Festival - Mushroom foray changed to 2 outings closer to San

A combination of poor picking (there are very few mushrooms around this year) and weather made us change slightly the original outing to Skidegate Lake.

Instead, on Saturday Sept 9th, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, we will be taking groups of Festival Visitors on 2 different outings. At 1:00pm, a shorter mushroom foray will be taking us one mission to pick mushrooms in an area close to sandspit. At 3:00pm, we will take visitors on a forest and shore walk in an area known only to locals!

Both outings will be including transport by bus and van.

Sign up is required on the day of the event, starting at 10:00am.

Maximum of 40 people for both outings. We will ask for small contribution of $2 per person per outing to cover a part of the costs.

You will not be able to do everything, so you will have to make choices!!
