Wild Cocktails and evening activities

Last year we started to experiment with wild cocktail recipes and it was a smashing success. This year, we will be offering some new creations.

3 original creations will be featured, and without revealing too much, here are the names we came up for for them: There will be "Pick Your Petal", "The Glass Eye" and "The Black Bear". Come and try them out!

A Special Occasions License allows us to serve drinks at the event, and we will have a selection of beers, wine by the glass and cocktails to choose from.

Service will happen at the Community Hall, where there is a bar area close to the kitchen and where the Wild Harvest Cafe will also be set up. Have a seat, grab some food, have a drink and enjoy the event.

The event's activities will slow down after 5pm on both days, but there will be some action after hours, with a slideshow by Laura Sample at 5:30pm on Friday night, followed by live music by the 4-piece Band "Saltwater Hank", and solo artist "the Alkemist" coming from Prince George. Admission is by donation and the Wild Harvest Cafe will serve food all evening, made by Rachel from the "I Love Local" food truck. Visitors will be able to purchase drinks right at the bar, and try the various cocktails that we will have available. This evening event will start at 7pm, and the band is due to start at 7:30pm.

On Saturday, the evening will be casual with light fares and potluck style dinner, and drinks available for purchase from noon onward, in conjunction with the Wild Harvest Cafe, by Rachel from "I Love Local".

We will have a presentation by Jairul Rahaman, and informal discussions with participants and speakers of the event.
